Ok. My last post in this blog was dated January 16.Today is March 15, The Ides of March. Oh what a well known day in history this is. On this day in the year 44 B.C Julius Caesar, was the victim of a rather epic back stabbing. I could do a bit of epic back stabbing with this post but I won't. I'm much too lazy. And truth be told, I kinda don't feel like updating this blog at all right now. But I will so.... No, there will be no back stabbing of any sort. At least not right now anyways.
Instead I'll give you guys a much needed update. When I made my last post, I used a pre-written post and had it auto posted. At the time I had recently been released from the hospital following a near fatal medical emergency. At the time that post went up, I was still recovering from my experience, had a narrow range of function as in my motor skills were failing me after having so many needles in my arm over a period of a week and whatnot. Since then I've had to deal with any number of less major medical problems, family problems, and various day to day life problems. In February, I was better but had to do a lot of traveling to go see a number of medical specialists and then I had to leave the country to visit family. Since my return I've been eyeball deep in a number of International Women's Month events. (March is recognized as International Women's Month.) I'm planning a few more events, participating in a number of events, meeting with a number of special interests groups to see what they have planned, working with a number of people I admire, and having a blast.
I'm not sure how many of you reading this know... but I've stated many times that this is not my only blog. Over the past year and a half I've been working on completely redoing/re-vamping one of my baby blogs. Baby as in, it means the world to me. This blog, the one you're reading now, was something I started as a way of venting my frustrations with AGE. As far as I can tell it has served its primary goals. I know I haven't posted anything in awhile and I hope you can forgive me for not giving you some warning as to why. In any case, since last night I've begun reading the massive number of emails, instant messages, and comments left and I want to explain a few things.
Many people who sound angry or seem to have taken a dislike with my character because of what I've posted here are associating my blog with something vile and evil because they disagreed with one or two posts. For those readers, I strongly suggest you read other materials linked in this blog as well as the comment policy.
I have begun reading the emails and instant messages and as of yet have not responded to any of them. I hope to respond to as many of the 627 emails as possible over the next three days. But if I don't respond to you in that time please read further to learn why. I do not and will not respond to threatening emails, emails sent by persons impersonating AGE customer service, emails relating to the death of any Game Sage/Game Master/ AGE employee, emails that blame me for the removal/addition of new/former Games Sages/AGE employees, or emails that contain links to supposed GS confidential information.
I will try to publish a post at least once every three days, I'm not going to make any guarantees. I'm also going to work on some guest blogging since there's a former game sage that has indicated they'd like to have some fun with this blog. And I guess that's about it for updates. Well there's more that I wanted to say but I didn't want this first post back in ages to be too text heavy.
